Deep scars can they be removed

Beautiful and smooth skin without any imperfections is a dream of each of us. Often, however, as a result of random events, accidents, acne from adolescence and other ailments unsightly scars arise, which are sometimes difficult to hide. What are the methods of fighting scars?
Almost all of us carry scars on our bodies. They are formed on the skin as a result of the violation of its continuity, caused by various factors. Until a dozen or so years ago, we simply had to live with scars, try to hide them under the layers of makeup, clothing or long hair. However, now modern aesthetic medicine offers us treatments that effectively remove these doubtful beauty souvenirs.
Types of scars
The first question to be answered is: What is a scar? This term is used to describe the type of skin lesion resulting from damage to the dermis layer, replaced by fibrous connective tissue, known as scar tissue. In terms of the time elapsed since the damage was caused, scars can be divided into immature and mature scars. Immature is the one that has formed on freshly healed skin – it is pink, slightly protrudes above the surface of the skin. It also happens that it causes itching. Mature scar has a slightly different character: it becomes flat and its color – lighter than the color of the skin. Properly healed, mature scar does not cause the feeling of “pulling”, it does not hurt. It is soft to the touch and relatively elastic. On the other hand, abnormally healed scars, i.e. pathological scars, actually cause significant discomfort: they may hurt, itch or limit movement. These changes include hypertrophic scars, atrophic scars and keloids.
Causes of scarring
The second division of scars is directly related to the causes of their formation. And they belong to them:
acne – acne scars appear in the form of holes or cavities in the skin of the face, which is left behind by youthful acne. They may be more or less visible, but they are always associated with a great feeling of discomfort;
surgical procedures – surgical scars are created in the place where the scalpel cut the skin. That is why they usually heal quite quickly and have the form of a thin line on the skin;
Burns are a special kind of injury that leaves long, healing, painful scars;
injuries – these include various types of accidents occurring during the performance of daily duties and communication accidents. The way of healing and the subsequent appearance of the scar are difficult to predict, because they depend on many factors, such as the location or the severity of the injury.
Home remedies
There are hundreds of tips on how to get rid of scarring at home on our websites. Food products such as vinegar, essential oils, citrus peel, herbs, milk, fruit, honey and sugar are used. But are these methods effective? One thing you can say for sure about them: they can reduce discoloration, nourish and moisturize the skin, making it slightly smoother and brighter, and improving its overall condition. This may give a sense of scar removal, although in reality these methods do not interfere with the structure of the tissue, so they do not provide a total reduction, but only temporarily reduce the visibility of unsightly traces.
So is it possible to remove the scar?
Of course! But you won’t find it in your kitchen, but in a beauty salon. The best method currently available is laser scar removal. These are the advantages of this solution:
Scar removal with a laser beam is painless and non-invasive, so it is safe;
The risk of complications is minimal;
is the most effective method of permanent removal of scars;
This method is available to everyone, regardless of gender and age;
is effective for fresh and mature as well as very extensive adhesions;
It can be used on all skin types;
Preparation for treatment is not cumbersome.
The treatment itself does not cause any pain or discomfort to the patient. The laser principle is based on the penetration of its light into the tissue, coagulation of its damaged fragments and stimulation of the formation of new, healthy tissue. Is it worth using this method? Absolutely – it allows you to remove even old, very extensive scars, and the effects are visible in a relatively short time.
Needle mesotherapy
This is the second modern method of getting rid of unwanted souvenirs from the past. And although it is a method that allows for quick results, it does not match the laser method in some respects. Needle mesotherapy is based on injecting preparations containing hyaluronic acid under the skin. It increases the skin’s tension and moisturizes it, facilitating its regeneration and shallowing wrinkles. But this method also has its drawbacks. If you want to achieve a lasting effect, remember that hyaluronic acid naturally breaks down in our body. The effects of the therapy will not be eternal.
