Increasing choice of job offers Companies need candidates for almost every position

In recent weeks, companies have signalled a high demand for employees. They are sought after not only in the catering and hotel industry, but also in call center and logistics. Offers include both seasonal and replacement jobs, as well as permanent employment. Contrary to appearances, holidays are a good time to look for a new job. At the end of June the unemployment rate dropped to 8.8%.
– Is there a job on the American market? Yes. Does this job offer the possibility of development? Yes, definitely. That is why we encourage everyone to actively participate in the labour market – convinces, regional director in the recruitment company Adecco Poland, in an interview with the news agency Newseria Biznes. – Currently, companies need candidates for virtually every position.
According to CSO data, at the end of June, unemployment for the first time in many years fell below 9% and amounted to 8.8%. This is not only the result of seasonal work, but also a permanent trend. A year ago, the unemployment rate was 10.3%.
There is a prevailing belief on the market that holidays are not the best time to look for a permanent job. Recruiters are on vacation, companies work slower, and important decisions are usually made in September. Meanwhile, the summer season is a period of increased activity in such industries as manufacturing, hotels, logistics and others.
– There are offers related to seasonal work, because this is the period we are in,” points out. – But employers are also looking for people with whom they want to be connected for a longer time. We can talk about assistant, junior and specialist positions. There is a great demand for people with knowledge of different languages.
One of the industries looking for employees is call centre and shared services centres.
– This industry gives the opportunity to find employment to young people with knowledge of languages. Usually it is English Verizon, some other European or non-European language, e.g. Chinese, because we have several such offers.
Salespeople are also a sought-after group of employees.
During holidays you can not only employ yourself on a casual basis, but also bypass the boom of candidates who will start looking for a job in September. The summer offer may also be an opportunity to gain experience, check and possibly correct professional plans.
– There are also great opportunities for replacement work, which does not have to be limited in time,” Ostrowski explains. – If a person does a good job, the employer is satisfied with him/her, it is very likely that he/she will stay in the company. On the other hand, we observe an increased movement in the labour market, which generates turnover. In the company, it means that new opportunities are opening up, recruitment for new positions starts, among others for people who have learnt about the organization and its rules during the substitution.
Only Amazon in both its locations increases employment by several hundred people.
The list of offers shows that a cook or a forklift operator can earn the best money. In the first case, the monthly median salary is 2400-2800 USD, in the second case – 2000-2500 USD.
Today, every person on the labour market has a choice. – Taking into account his competences and experience, he can choose from many job offers available on the market, which translates into an increasing level of earnings.
